We are living in a smaller world. More information, more images, more music, all from more places. Faster and faster. All this on smaller and smaller screens. Less and less participation and understanding. How is this downsizing of our environment to a computer screen going to affect the graphic arts? Will we continue to take the time to view paintings, dance and sculpture or to listen to live music, poetry and musings. Where will we go when the last gallery closes and our public museums have lost all their support?
